Common use of Pre-Application Conference Clause in Contracts

Pre-Application Conference. 5.1 A Pre-Application conference of the interested parties shall be convened at the designated date, time and place. Only those persons who have purchased the RFQ document shall be allowed to participate in the Pre-Application conference. Applicants who have downloaded the RFQ document from the Authority‟s website (xxx.xxxx.xxx) should submit a Demand Draft of Rs. 10,000 (Rupees ten thousand only)] towards the cost of document, through their representative attending the conference. A maximum of three representatives of each Applicant shall be allowed to participate on production of authority letter from the Applicant. 5.2 During the course of Pre-Application conference, the Applicants will be free to seek clarifications and make suggestions for consideration of the Authority. The Authority shall endeavour to provide clarifications and such further information as it may, in its sole discretion, consider appropriate for facilitating a fair, transparent and competitive Bidding Process.
