Pre-Design Study Sample Clauses
The Pre-Design Study clause outlines the requirement for conducting an initial analysis or investigation before the commencement of the main design phase of a project. Typically, this involves gathering relevant data, assessing site conditions, identifying potential constraints, and evaluating project feasibility to inform the subsequent design process. By mandating a thorough pre-design study, the clause helps ensure that the design phase is based on accurate information, reducing the risk of unforeseen issues and supporting more effective project planning and execution.
Pre-Design Study. Deliverables: The Grantee will perform a pre-design study of the project area and produce a pre-design report that will evaluate the causes of the sedimentation along the northern side of the channel. The study will include literature research, compilation of historical data, numerical modeling, and a geotechnical investigation of the inlet waters and subsurface to support the characterization of the subsurface stratigraphy. Documentation: The Grantee will submit the final pre-design study report.
Pre-Design Study. Deliverables: The Grantee will perform a pre-design study of removal, rehabilitation, replacement or relocation of the adjacent sanitary sewer lines, forcemain, and manholes serving Lift Station #16 and produce a pre-design report that will detail the scope of the problem in the analysis area, outline design options, and identify the tasks required to complete a resolution to the problem. Documentation: The Grantee will submit the final pre-design study report.
Pre-Design Study. The Architect is authorized to conduct a pre-design study that includes but is not limited to the following tasks: • Conduct project initiation meeting. • Visit the site to confirm opportunities and constraints and evaluate the site. • Conduct programming meetings with DAS, OSCGR and CTECS. • Develop space programming, critical adjacencies, space configuration and conceptual/pre- design layouts and narratives. • Prepare meeting agendas and lead meetings specific to the goals, needs, and layouts for the career and technical education spaces per the Ed Specs. • Review and advise regarding the finalization of the Ed Specs and space programming for the project, including exterior requirements. • Provide critical adjacency and space configuration diagrams for the career and technical education spaces per the Ed Specs. • Provide a minimum of three (3) design concepts/pre-design layouts for consideration and approval by the DAS, OSCGR and CTECS that utilizes the open space on the site for new construction and places the new building at the location of the existing building and proposed phasing. The Architect shall provide electronic copies and two (2) hard copies of each pre-design conceptual design and conceptual/pre-design narrative reports with proposed phasing to DAS within sixty (60) calendar days after receipt of written notice to proceed. For the services provided, the Architect shall be compensated for said services in the amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00).
Pre-Design Study. Deliverables: The Grantee will perform a pre-design study that will include geotechnical exploration, survey, and plans preparation for pipe installation to the existing canal within the East Lake Village neighborhood. Documentation: The Grantee will submit the final pre-design report.
