Pre-Development Services Agreement Sample Clauses
A Pre-Development Services Agreement is a contract that outlines the terms under which one party provides preliminary services—such as feasibility studies, site assessments, or design concepts—before a full development project begins. Typically, this agreement specifies the scope of work, deliverables, timelines, and compensation for these early-stage services, and may address issues like intellectual property ownership or confidentiality. Its core function is to clearly define the expectations and responsibilities of both parties during the pre-development phase, reducing misunderstandings and ensuring that both sides are aligned before committing to a larger development contract.
