Common use of Preauthorized Transfers, Stop Payments and Notices of Varying Amounts Clause in Contracts

Preauthorized Transfers, Stop Payments and Notices of Varying Amounts. If you authorize us or another company or person to withdraw from your Account on a regular basis (such as when you sign up for “autopay” to pay a recurring bill or invoice), it is called a “Preauthorized Transfer.” You may request that we place a stop payment on Preauthorized Transfers, as well as get notification when the amount of a particular withdrawal will be different from the amount of the last withdrawal. We may charge a fee to stop payment on Preauthorized Transfers (as outlined in the fees section above).
