Precaution to be taken by contractor. 13.1) The work shall be carried out by the contractor without causing damage to the existing Government property and/or private property. If any such damage are caused, the contractor shall pay for restoration of the property to the original conditions, and any other consequent damages. 13.2) In the event of an occurrence of an accident, involving serious injury or death of any person, at site of work or quarry or at any place in connection with the work the same shall be reported in writing within twenty four hours of the occurrence to the Engineer-in-charge and the Commissioner of Workmen’s compensation.
