Precinct Election Board. With prior approval of the employee’s supervisor and under comparable conditions as provided for supervisors and managers in CalHR rule 599.930, an employee in Bargaining Unit 2 may be granted time off for public service as a member of a Precinct Election Board. The employee shall be eligible for both regular State compensation and any fee paid by the Registrar of Voters for such service. Verification of service may be required.
