Preconstruction Conference. Prior to, or concurrent with, the issuance of the Notice to Proceed with Construction, a conference will be convened for attendance by the Owner, Contractor, A/E and appropriate Subcontractors. The purpose of the conference is to establish a working understanding among the parties as to the Work, the operational conditions at the Project Site, and general administration of the Project. Topics include communications, schedules, procedures for handling Shop Drawings and other submittals, processing Applications for Payment, maintaining required records and all other matters of importance to the administration of the Project and effective communications between the project team members.
Preconstruction Conference. 4.9.1 The Developer is required to meet with the City Staff prior to commencing construction for a pre-construction conference. At that conference the execution of the work, specifications, terms and conditions of the Agreement will be discussed.
4.9.2 At the time of the Pre-Construction Conference, all development fees must be paid, construction plans must be signed by the City Engineer, the sewer approval has been granted by the State, the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan and Notice of Intent must be filed with the State of Tennessee, and the required bond must be posted.
Preconstruction Conference. Before any Work at the Site is started, a conference attended by Contractor, Architect, Owner and others as appropriate will be held to establish a working understanding among the parties as to the Work and to discuss the preliminary schedules, procedures for handling Shop Drawings and other submittals, processing Applications for Payment including time- line for submission, review and payment, and maintaining required records.
Preconstruction Conference. The Contractor’s representatives (and representatives of Subcontractors as requested by the District) shall attend a preconstruction conference at such time and place as designated by the District. The preconstruction conference will generally address the requirements of the Work and Contract Documents, and to establish construction procedures. Subject matters of the preconstruction conference will include as appropriate: (a) administrative matters, including an overview of the respective responsibilities of the District, Architect, Construction Manager, Contractor, Subcontractors, Project Inspector, and others performing any part of the Work or services relating to the Work; (b)
Preconstruction Conference. The Division Manager shall notify the Contractor as to the location, date, and time of a preconstruction conference to confirm procedures for processing construction estimates for payment and related submissions and to discuss other matters pertaining to scheduling and execution of the Work.
Preconstruction Conference. Before any Work at the Site is started, the Contractor shall attend a Preconstruction Conference as specified in the Contract Documents.
Preconstruction Conference. A. Within 20 days after the Contract Times start to run, but before any Work at the Site is started, a conference attended by CONTRACTOR, ENGINEER, and others as appropriate will be held to establish a working understanding among the parties as to the Work and to discuss the schedules referred to in paragraph 2.05.B, procedures for handling Shop Drawings and other submittals, processing Applications for Payment, and maintaining required records.
Preconstruction Conference. 13.8.1 A pre-construction conference may be held prior to the issuance of a notice to proceed with the Work. The Contractor, the City of University City, and representatives of the various utility companies that have facilities in the project area will attend this meeting. The meeting date will be established after the taking of bids and at a time convenient to all parties.
Preconstruction Conference. After the contract(s) have been awarded, but before the start of construction, a conference will be held for the purpose of discussion requirements on such matters as project supervision, coordination with city or county officials, on-site inspections, progress schedules and reports, payrolls, payments to contractors, contract change orders, insurance, safety and other items pertinent to the project. The contractor shall arrange to have all supervisory personnel connected with the project on hand to meet with representatives of the engineer and owner to discuss any problems anticipated.
Preconstruction Conference. (1) A preconstruction conference will be arranged by the Contracting Officer after award of contract and before commencement of work. The Contracting Officer or designated representative will notify the Contractor of the time, date, and location for the meeting. At this conference, the Contractor shall be oriented with respect to Government procedures and line of authority, contractual, administrative, and construction matters.
(2) The Contractor shall bring to this conference, in completed form, a Certificate of Insurance, plus the following items in either completed or draft form:
(i) Accident Prevention Plan;
(ii) Quality Control Plan;
(iii) Letter Appointing Superintendent;
(iv) Transmittal Register;
(v) Power of Attorney and Certified Copy of Resolution;
(vi) Network Analysis System, (when identified in the contract schedule as applicable);
(vii) List of Subcontractors;
(viii) SF 1413;
(ix) Performance and Payment Bonds; and
(x) Schedule of Values.
(3) A letter of record will be written documenting all items discussed at the conference, and a copy will be furnished by the Contracting Officer to all in attendance.
