Predecessor Distributor Sample Clauses

The Predecessor Distributor clause defines the rights and obligations of a distributor who previously held distribution rights to a product or service before the current agreement. Typically, this clause addresses issues such as the transition of inventory, outstanding payments, or the handling of customer accounts that originated under the predecessor's tenure. Its core function is to ensure a smooth transition between distributors, clarify responsibilities, and prevent disputes over legacy matters.
