Common use of Preference for Recycled Products Clause in Contracts

Preference for Recycled Products. To the extent applicable, the Contractor agrees to comply with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) “Comprehensive Procurement Guidelines for Products Containing Recovered Materials,” 40 CFR Part 247, implementing section 6002 of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, as amended, 42 U.S.C. Section 6962, and otherwise provide a competitive preference for products and services that conserve natural resources and protect the environment and are energy efficient.

Preference for Recycled Products. To the extent applicablepracticable and economically feasible and to the extent that it does not reduce or impair the quality of the work, the Contractor agrees to comply with use recycled products in performance of the Contract pursuant to U.S. Environmental Environment Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) “Comprehensive Procurement Guidelines for Products Containing Recovered Materials,” guidelines at 40 CFR Part 247C.F.R. Parts 247 253, implementing which implement section 6002 of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, as amended, 42 U.S.C. Section § 6962, and otherwise provide a competitive preference for products and services that conserve natural resources and protect the environment and are energy efficient.

To the extent applicable, the Contractor Recipient agrees to comply with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) EPA regulations, “Comprehensive Procurement Guidelines for Products Containing Recovered Materials,” 40 CFR C.F.R. Part 247, implementing which implements section 6002 of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, as amended, 42 U.S.C. Section § 6962, and otherwise with subsequent Federal regulations that may be promulgated. Accordingly, the Recipient agrees to provide a competitive preference for products and services that conserve natural resources and resources, protect the environment environment, and are energy efficient.

Section 6962, and otherwise provide a competitive preference for products and services that conserve natural resources and protect the environment and are energy efficient.
