The Company may, at its sole discretion, pay such Premium Taxes when due and deduct that amount from the Contract Value at a later date. The Company reserves the right to establish a provision for federal income taxes if it determines, in its sole discretion, that it will incur a tax as a result of the operation of the Separate Account. The Company will deduct for any income taxes incurred by it as a result of the operation of the Separate Account whether or not there was a provision for taxes and whether or not it was sufficient.
