Preoperational System Cleaning. Prior to placing in operation, the piping system shall be cleaned by the Company according to the Contractor’s specification. Contractor shall submit cleaning procedure to Company for approval prior to starting construction. Cleaning procedure shall use any of a combination of air, water, geothermal brine or geothermal steam. Cleaning energy shall be equivalent to a liquid flow velocity of 20 feet per second. The pipeline flush will be conducted by the Company as described in Section 9.2.
