Common use of Preparation of Recyclable Material for Collection Clause in Contracts

Preparation of Recyclable Material for Collection. The FRANCHISEE shall pick up all Recyclable Materials generated from participating Residential Units which have been properly prepared and stored for Collection as follows: (a) Residents are responsible for separating Recyclable Materials from all other Solid Wastes, Yard Trash and Bulk Wastes. Recyclable Materials to be collected by the FRANCHISEE include newspapers (including inserts), corrugated cardboard, mixed paper (including xxxxx paper bags, magazines, phonebooks, junk mail, white and colored paper, and paperboard), aluminum cans, plastic containers and bottles marked with SP codes 1-7, glass bottles and jars, and tin and ferrous cans. The COUNTY may add additional material types for Collection, with the approval of the FRANCHISEE. (b) Recyclable Materials shall be placed in Recycling Carts.
