Preservation of Certain Leasehold Interests. If (i) Coal Party wishes to release, surrender, terminate, or permit the termination or expiration of any Third Party leasehold in which Gas Party has a Gas Interest or (ii) Gas Party wishes to release, surrender, terminate, or permit the termination or expiration of any Third Party leasehold in which Coal Party has a Coal Interest, in each case, Coal Party and Gas Party agree that the terms and conditions set forth in Exhibit C shall apply.
