PRESUMPTION OF ABANDONMENT OF POSITION. 35.1 Separation Due to Unauthorized Absences Following an employee’s unauthorized absence of four (4) or more consecutive working days, the University may separate an employee by sending a separation notice to the employee by certified mail to the last known address of the employee.
