Prime Contractor Compliance Sample Clauses

The Prime Contractor Compliance clause requires the main contractor to adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations relevant to the project. In practice, this means the prime contractor must ensure that their work, as well as the work of any subcontractors they engage, meets all legal and contractual standards, such as safety codes, labor laws, and industry regulations. This clause serves to allocate responsibility for compliance to the prime contractor, reducing the risk for the client or project owner and ensuring that the project is conducted lawfully and according to agreed-upon terms.
