Principal Designates. (a) When the Principal is not in the school for a day or more, a teacher may be asked to assume the responsibilities of the Principal. (b) When a teacher performs the duties specified above, the teacher shall be paid an additional allowance for each full-day in which they perform the duty. Effective September 1, 2014 $27.60 Effective September 1, 2016 $27.88 (Increase of 1%) Effective February 3, 2017 $28.02 (Increase of 0.5%) (c) Teachers serving as principal designates shall not discipline or evaluate other teachers. (d) Each teacher assigned to be In-Charge of the school on a temporary basis will complete a time sheet in the Part Time Staff Record of Hours binder located in the school office. Usual and statutory deductions apply to all such payments.
