Principal Transactions. Except for transactions not permitted by the 1940 Act or rules and regulations adopted, or orders issued, by the Commission thereunder, the Trustees may, on behalf of the Trust, buy any securities from or sell any securities to, or lend any assets of the Trust or any Series thereof to any Trustee or officer of the Trust or any firm of which any such Trustee or officer is a member acting as principal, or have any such dealings with the Investment Adviser, any Underwriter or Transfer Agent or with any Interested Person of such Person; and the Trust or a Series thereof may employ any such Person, or firm or company in which such Person is an Interested Person, as broker, legal counsel, registrar, Transfer Agent, dividend disbursing agent or Custodian upon customary terms.
