Priority Before Posting. Prior to a vacant Bargaining Unit position being posted, the Employer shall attempt to fill the position giving priority to Employees as follows: i. first, to an Employee who requires accommodation pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code; ii. second, to an Employee in the CAW Local 555 Parking & Transit Services bargaining unit and who is on layoff or has received notice of layoff. This does not apply in respect of a part-time Employee who has been laid off other than consistent with Article iii. third, to an Employee who has elected Priority Placement in accordance with Article 17.06; iv. fourth, to an Employee who is on the Recall list in accordance with Article 17.14;
