Privacy and Security Training. If any work shall take place on WAHBE property, then prior to conducting any work, all Contractor employees and supervisory personnel performing work under this Contract must attend Privacy and Security training, which is provided onsite at WAHBE by WAHBE staff. The content of the training must include HIPAA Omnibus Rule Employee Training & Implementation Protocols, at a minimum. Each staff member who receives information Privacy and Security Training must sign a certification, indicating the member’s name and the date on which the training was completed. 3. Ensure that all new staff as well as temporary staff will have a basic orientation in the policies and procedures related to their job function which includes but is not limited to completing Privacy and Security Training. 4. Ensure all new staff understands the organization’s computer, internet and email use policies and have signed to this effect. 5. New staff must complete privacy and security training for HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 training and complete the certification statement. 6. Train all personnel not to share their passwords or user ID’s and to change them according to this Participant’s procedure.
Privacy and Security Training. Vendor will be required to provide information security and privacy awareness training to each member of Contract Staff prior to having access to USAC Data or to USAC IT Systems and thereafter on an annual basis. Contract Staff will be required to provide USAC with acknowledgements signed by Contract Staff upon request as evidence of the security and privacy awareness training. Contract Staff shall also be required to attend all mandatory privacy and data security training sessions as required by USAC, and all Contract Staff will be required to sign confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements as required by USAC. USAC’s Privacy Officer and Chief Information Security Officer reserve the right to review the Vendor-provided training materials and mandate changes to the training(s) which must be implemented within ten (10) business days.
