Pro-rata Deduction. Teachers who commence employment after September or terminate employment before June shall have their deductions pro-rated for each month or portion thereof the teacher is employed. The Association will provide the District with the appropriate billing forms necessary for transmittal. Deduction shall be made only from payer employees for whom a payroll deduction authorization is on file.

  • Pro Rata Payments Payments to the Holders shall be pro rata with other Holders who purchased Notes in the same oRering, based on the Principal Amount of each such Note. If a Holder receives a payment in excess of his, her, or its pro rata share, the excess shall be deemed to be held in trust for the benefit of other Holders.

  • Dues Deduction 6.2.1 The District shall deduct, in accordance with the CSEA dues and service fee schedule approved by the CSEA delegates, dues from the wages of all employees who are members of CSEA on the date of the execution of this Agreement, and who have submitted dues authorization forms to the District.

  • Membership Dues Deduction Any unit member who is a member of the Teachers 20 Association of Long Beach, CTA-NEA, or who has applied for membership, may 21 pay a lump sum cash payment to the Association or sign and deliver to the District 22 an assignment authorizing deduction of unified membership dues, initiation fees and 23 general assessments in the Association. Pursuant to such authorization, the District 24 shall deduct one-tenth (1/10) of such dues from the regular salary warrant of the unit 26 authorization after the commencement of the school year shall have deducted one- 28 periods.

  • Union Deductions All employees who are covered by the certification with the Union shall, as a condition of continuing employment, authorize a deduction from their pay cheques of the amount of the dues, levies and assessments payable to the Union by a member of the Union. The Employer shall provide a copy of the authorization form, which has been forwarded by the Union, to each new employee. Upon receipt of written notice from the Union, the Employer shall terminate the services of any employee who does not authorize the deduction as above. The Employer agrees to deduct the amount of the Union dues, levies and assessments payable to the Union by an employee in the Union’s bargaining unit. The Union shall advise the Employer in writing sixty (60) calendar days in advance of any change in the amount to be deducted. The Employer shall remit such dues, levies and assessments to the Union within twenty-eight (28) calendar days from the date of deduction, together with a written statement containing the names of the employees for whom the deductions were made and the amount of each deduction. The Employer shall supply each employee, without charge, a receipt for income tax purposes shown on the T4 slip in the amount of the deductions paid to the Union by the employee in the previous year. Such receipts shall be provided to the employee prior to March 1 of the succeeding year. Deductions for levies and assessments shall be a percentage of wages.

  • No deduction All amounts due or payable by either party under this contract shall be paid free and clear of any deduction, withholding or set off, except:

  • PRO RATA Upon termination of employment for any reason other than discharge for proven or admitted dishonesty, an employee shall receive whatever vacation pay is due, prorated on the basis of the number of straight-time hours worked, provided that the employee has been in the continuous employ of the Employer for six (6) months or longer. Said vacation pay shall be prorated according to the ratio that the straight-time hours actually worked bear to 2,080 hours. The forfeiture of vacation pay for proven or admitted dishonesty shall not be retroactive beyond the employee's last anniversary date.
