Procedures for Providing INP Through Route Index Arrangements. Upon mutual agreement, either Party may deploy a Route Index arrangement which combines direct trunks, provisioned between BA’s and MFN’s end offices, with trunk side routing translations. Under this arrangement, an inbound call to a ported number will be pointed at a route index that sends the call to a dedicated direct final trunk group, for the sole purpose of facilitating completion of calls to a ported number. The Parties will coordinate with each other to provide this solution in a mutually agreeable, reciprocal and administratively manageable manner so as to minimize switch resource utilization for both Parties.
