Common use of Proceed Against Lessee Clause in Contracts

Proceed Against Lessee. Notwithstanding any assignment or sublease, or any indulgences, waivers or extensions of time granted by Lessor to any assignee or sublessee or failure of Lessor to take action against any assignee or sublease, Lessee hereby agrees that Lessor may, at its option, proceed against Lessee without having taken action against or joined such assignee or sublessee, except that Lessee shall have the benefit of any indulgences, waivers and extensions of time granted to any such assignee or sublessee.
