Procuring Tabulation Equipment. Arizona law allows the use of vote tabulation equipment in Arizona elections, § 16-445(A), and authorizes the Board to procure tabulation equipment to count ballots, § 16-451. Consistent with those requirements and pursuant to this Agreement, the Board is responsible to select the vendor for Maricopa County’s tabulation equipment; contract for, manage, service, and maintain the equipment; and communicate with the vendor concerning the equipment.
