Product Delivery Requirements. Customer shall arrange for Products to be delivered to the Facility in a segregated manner, free from contamination, properly marked and packaged for handling. Any special delivery requirements are set forth in the Work Instructions. At or prior to delivery of the Products to any Facility, Customer shall provide to SCS a manifest indicating the Products to be tendered for storage, with any special instructions, including but not limited to the applicable material safety data sheets (MSDS), concerning storage, services, accounting, segregation or any other requirements relating to the Products.
Product Delivery Requirements. For each delivery site, delivery shall be in tank truck lots of 5,000 gallons or less to the locations specified in the contract. With each load a sample shall be provided and labeled with the date, chemical name, shipping/BOL number, specific gravity, and customer name. Certified scales shall determine delivery weight of material. Contractor shall furnish certificates of weight, Bill of Lading (BOL), and Certificate of Analysis (COA) with all ferrous chloride deliveries. Each BOL shall indicate specific gravity and concentration of the product shipped. All paperwork (weight ticket, and COA) for each load delivered shall have the BOL number identifying the paperwork together for auditing/tracking purposes. The BOL can be typed, written, and/or stamped on each document. All drivers shall be properly trained on the proper transportation, loading, unloading, and handling of Hazardous Materials, certified through the Department of Transportation and have an endorsement to their commercial license for hazardous materials, and shall use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) to safely off-load chemicals. Contractor and all drivers shall follow all WWTD standard operating procedures (SOP) for each facility. WWTD reserves the right to ban drivers not meeting such requirements or being unsafe until proper training is completed, or reinstatement is determined by the department contact identified on the City Contact identified in Section 1.2 above. Ferrous chloride shall be delivered Free on Board (FOB) Destination within two (2) business days after Contractor’s receipt of order to the following City locations and any other City locations which may be added in the future:
1. Metropolitan Biosolids Center (MBC) ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ San Diego, CA 92111 MBC deliveries shall be between the hours of 7:00 am. and 1:00 pm, seven (7) days per week, not including City holidays. Exceptions to this schedule should be rare, however, the City may require/allow changes at its discretion.
2. North City Water Reclamation Plant (NCWRP) ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ San Diego, CA 92121 NCWRP deliveries shall be between the hours of 7:00 am. and 1:00 pm, seven (7) days per week, not including City holidays. Exceptions to this schedule should be rare, however, the City may require/allow changes at its discretion.
