Xxxx and his staff are responsible for carrying out the production process including isolation, expansion, seeding and harvest. Xxxx will also oversee completion of MBRs, cGMP documentation, and in-process testing. Xxxx has 6 years experience in cell therapy production at LWI, including 4 years in a supervisory role. Quality Control Manager – Xxxx Xxxxx: will oversee release testing of the engineered skin devices for qualification runs and clinical trial. Xxxx and his staff are responsible for carrying out the bioburden, sterility, surface electrical capacitance and histology tests. Xxxx has been a Quality Control Manager for more than 10 years. Quality Assurance Manager – Xxxxx Xxxxxxx: will oversee quality assurance of production activities, QA audits, controlled documentation and release of engineered skin devices for qualification runs and clinical trial. Xxxxx has been managed the Quality Assurance team for 4 years and has approximately 10 years experience in the field of biotechnology. The ESS will be relatively expensive to produce for this initial clinical study from LWI. It is planned that the study will require approximately 4m2 (40,000 cm2) with a cost of goods of $27.47/cm2 for an estimated total cost of $1,098,800; $889,552 of which is charged to the grant budget. The remainder of the cost is a Lonza in-kind contribution. This amount of ESS is required to provide between 0.36 and 0.42 m2 (3,600 - 4,200 cm2) for each of the 10 prospective subjects in the study. This amount per study subject is needed to demonstrate the primary medical benefit which is conservation of donor skin. The study design would propose to manufacture the ESS from a biopsy of split-thickness of an approximate area of 30-40 cm2 for an approximate expansion of the biopsy area by 100 fold. This expansion will demonstrate the primary medical benefit of the device which is reduction of skin harvesting to complete wound closure. Travel costs are requested for the study sponsor (LWI; $15,000), and the associated participants ($10,000). Sponsor related travel will include pre-study visits to the performance sites, training visits, and study closure visits for two staff members. Production Manager. The Board of Managers shall appoint a production manager (the “Production Manager”), who shall initially be Xxxxx Xxxxx. Subject to the supervision and authority of the Board of Managers, the Production Manager (i) shall have responsibility and authority for management of the day-to-day operations of the Company, (ii) may execute agreements and contracts on behalf of the Company, and (iii) may delegate matters to other Company officers and employees. Upon the decision of the Board of Managers, the Production Manager shall be removed from office and terminated from employment with the Company. Production Manager.
(a) The Production Manager is engaged by the Producer to perform duties as a Production Manager on a motion picture. The fact that the Production Manager may also render services in any other capacity shall not take him out of the classification as a Production Manager, with reference to any work he performs as a Production Manager, and during the period of such work. The Producer agrees that a Production Manager providing these additional services shall still be subject to District Council representation as a Production Manager and that the terms and conditions of this Agreement shall be applicable to such Guild Member.
(b) The Production Manager, under the supervision of the Producer, is required to coordinate, facilitate and oversee the preparation of the production unit or units (to the extent herein provided) assigned to him, all off-set logistics, Day-to-Day production decisions, locations, Budget schedules and personnel.
(c) Without limitation, among the duties which the Producer must assign to the Production Manager are the coordination of or participation in the following:
(i) Prepare script breakdown and preliminary shooting schedule.
(ii) Prepare or coordinate the preparation of the Budget.
(iii) Coordinate preliminary search and survey of all locations and the completion of arrangements for same.
(iv) Assist in the preparation of the production to ensure continuing efficiency.
(v) Coordinate completion of the Production Report for each Day's work, showing work covered and the status of the production, and arrange for the distribution of that report in line with the Producer's requirements.
(vi) Coordinate arrangements for the transportation and housing of cast, crew and staff.
(vii) Coordinate the securing of releases and negotiations for locations.
(viii) Coordinate the engaging of all production unit personnel.
(ix) Maintain a liaison with local authorities regarding locations and the operation of the motion picture.
(x) Obtain authorization of overtime for cast and crew.
(xi) Coordinate and prepare, in conjunction with the Production Accountant, the weekly cost report.
(d) The Production Manager may be referred to and credited as the Unit Production Manager (UPM).
