PROFESSIONAL APPRAISAL Clause Samples

The Professional Appraisal clause establishes the requirement for an independent, qualified expert to assess the value of a property, asset, or item in question. Typically, this clause outlines the process for selecting an appraiser, the standards or methodologies to be used, and how the appraisal results will be applied to the agreement—such as determining purchase price, resolving disputes, or setting insurance values. Its core practical function is to provide an objective and credible valuation, thereby reducing the potential for disagreements and ensuring fairness between the parties.
