Common use of Professional Liability Insurance (Errors and Omissions Coverage) Clause in Contracts

Professional Liability Insurance (Errors and Omissions Coverage). This insurance shall protect the Consultant from claims arising out of the performance of professional services caused by a negligent act, error, or omission for which the insured is legally liable. Such coverage shall be in an amount of not less than $1,000,000 for each occurrence and $1,000,000 in the aggregate for the period of time covered by this Agreement. The Consultant will provide City thirty (30) calendar days’ notice in writing of any cancellation of, or material change in, the above described policy.
