Program Construction Administration Oversight. Provide Construction Oversight and support to the Town of Wake Forest in support of the ▇▇▇▇ funded projects. The first groups of projects are as follows: 1.1. Comprehensive Wayfinding Plan for Parks & ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇ 1.2. ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ - ▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇▇ 1.3. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Road Bridge Replacement Project 1.4. Smith& ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Creek Greenway and Heritage Lake Road Sidewalk Improvements – C- 5164 For each of these 4 projects it is anticipated that a Senior Construction Inspector will be required to complete the following Tasks: • Coordination and Coordination Meetings The Senior Inspector will attend project meetings as necessary as a representative of the TOWF. The Senior Inspector will review and comment on the CEI firms’ meeting summary and update the TOWF project manager as required. It is anticipated that the project will require 60 weekly or monthly meetings, each lasting 2 hours. • Construction Observation The Senior Inspector will visit the project site to evaluate the contractor’s progress, determine effects on schedule, and summarize a briefing to the TOWF project manager. It is anticipated that 60- 1 hour project site visits will be required • Reviews of Pay Applications The Senior Inspector will review contractor pay application submittals. Based on his knowledge about the project, its progress and stage of completion, the Senior Inspector will make recommendations for approving/rejecting the pay application to the TOWF project manager regarding the applicability and legitimately of the charges. It is anticipated that each pay application (anticipate 24 pay applications) will ▇▇▇▇ ▇ hours to review, make comments to the contractor, prepare a recommendation, brief the TOWF project manager, and process upon approval. • Reviews of Request for Information (RFI) The Senior Inspector will coordinate receipt of the contractor’s RFI and facilitate a response on behalf of the TOWF. It is anticipated that 24 RFIs will require 2 hours each to finalize a response. • Monitoring of ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ Requirements The Senior Inspector will coordinate with the contractor and CEI staff for the project to insure that grant requirements included in the contract are documented sufficiently to be submitted to NCDOT upon request.
