Programming and Federal Authorization Clause Samples

The "Programming and Federal Authorization" clause establishes the requirement that certain actions or expenditures under the agreement are contingent upon receiving necessary approvals or authorizations from federal authorities. In practice, this means that the parties cannot proceed with specific project phases, funding allocations, or activities until the relevant federal agency has granted its consent or issued the required permits. This clause ensures compliance with federal regulations and prevents unauthorized or premature actions, thereby reducing legal and financial risks associated with non-compliance.
