Common use of Prohibition of quantitative restrictions Clause in Contracts

Prohibition of quantitative restrictions. Unless otherwise specified in this Agreement, all prohibitions or restrictions applying on the import or export of goods between the EC Party and the Pacific States, other than customs duties and taxes, and fees and other charges, whether made effective through quotas, import or export licenses or other measures, shall be eliminated upon the entry into force of this Agreement. No such new measures shall be introduced. The provisions of this Article shall be without prejudice to the provisions of Chapter 2 of Part II.
