Project Description and Schedule. Project Description: Architectural/Engineering design services shall be provided for the Project, described as follows: the Project is at the Kentfield Campus, located at 000 Xxxxxxx Xxxxxx, Xxxxxxxxx, XX 00000 and consists of the demolition of the existing Learning Resources Center, adjacent parking and circulation; design, Division of State Architect (“DSA”) approval, construction, and DSA closeout of a new Learning Resources Center; and demolition of the existing features in the courtyard between the Learning Resources Center and the Student Services Center and the construction of improvements thereon. The existing Learning Resources Center building will be completely demolished and the utilities in the footprint of the existing building will need to be removed or relocated to the footprint of the new building. Piers, foundations, and slabs will be removed. Existing fiber and utilities may need relocation. Contractor will be required to coordinate with geotechnical services, archaeological services, and other related entities. The existing courtyard walkways, ramps, lighting, and landscaping will all be removed. The District believes that historic artifacts may be located here, so care must be taken to avoid any disruption to existing artifacts and Contractor must comply with guidelines to be provided by the District. New walkways, ramps, stairs, landscaping, outdoor furniture, and lighting will be installed in this area. The estimated budget for construction hard costs for the Project is $82,000,000 (eighty-two million dollars).

Project Description and Schedule. ‌ The overall objective of this project is to evaluate the nature and extent of radioactive contamination existing on the Shpack site. This study expands on previously completed studies by focusing on site areas not previously investigated and by adding a systematic element to the sampling plan not previously performed at this site. The full field program is described in the SAP. Data Quality Objectives are detailed in the SAP, Section 3 and Worksheet #11a. Sampling Process Design is detailed in SAP Section 5. Analyses proposed and Contaminants of Concern are presented in Worksheet #9b. A summary of tasks included in this program follows.

All monitoring tasks must be located within or adjacent to the Project area and follow the Department’s Regional Coastal Monitoring Program and FWC's marine turtle and shorebird monitoring programs. Guidance for monitoring of nearshore resources is available in the Department's Standard Operation Procedures For Nearshore Hardbottom Monitoring Of Beach Nourishment Projects. The Local Sponsor must submit work products directly to the appropriate state or federal regulatory agencies in accordance with permit conditions to be eligible for reimbursement under this task, unless otherwise directed.
