Common use of Project Designer Clause in Contracts

Project Designer. a. The project designer shall provide a job specific scope of work and a description of the methods and procedures to be followed for accomplishment of abatement. b. For work orders in which alternative procedures may accelerate the schedule and or reduce cost to the State, the project designer shall submit an Alternative Work Practice (AWP) application to the DPH for approval. The use of AWP procedures is encouraged by the Client Agency representative. The Contractor shall use the state’s “standard AWP” approved list whenever it is in the best interest of the project.
