Project Engineering. The scope of work for any project may vary, but typically will include: a) Developing a Preliminary Engineering Report outlining scope of project and schedule, alternative analysis, preliminary cost estimates and funding source considerations b) Conducting surveys necessary to obtain topographical information of existing conditions c) Developing final construction plans, specifications, and bidding documents d) Providing survey staking during construction e) Administering construction contracts f) Observing construction of improvements for compliance Compensation for project engineering will be on an hourly basis up to the not-to-exceed amount noted in the Preliminary Engineering Report or memo to the City Council.
Project Engineering. Developer will retain the services of a qualified civil engineering consultant licensed in the State of Tennessee to design the water, sanitary sewer or repurified water mainlines and all related facilities (the “Project”) for the Development. 1.1 Plans and specifications prepared by Developer’s engineer must conform to all applicable statutes, codes, regulations, and criteria, including, but not limited to, the latest edition of: the Department’s Standard Specifications for Construction; the Department’s Policies, Procedures & General Design Requirements; the State of Tennessee Community Public Water Systems Design Criteria; the State of Tennessee Design Criteria for Sewage Works; and any other requirement applicable to the Project as determined by the City or the State (“Project Standards”). 1.2 Developer must coordinate all designs with the Department Engineer and submit the design for review and approval to the Department Engineer for not less than a two-week period for review; provided however, the Department’s work load may require additional review time. No work may begin on any portion of the Project that pertains to the Services prior to Department review and approval of
Project Engineering. Carrying out up-front project design and package interface, through the provision of technical advisory services.

  • Architect/Engineer (A/E) means a person registered as an architect pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1051, as a landscape architect pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1052, a person licensed as a professional engineer pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1001 and/or a firm employed by Owner or a design-build contractor to provide professional architectural or engineering services and to exercise overall responsibility for the design of a Project or a significant portion thereof, and to perform the contract administration responsibilities set forth in the Contract.

  • Value Engineering The Supplier may prepare, at its own cost, a value engineering proposal at any time during the performance of the contract. The value engineering proposal shall, at a minimum, include the following; a) the proposed change(s), and a description of the difference to the existing contract requirements; b) a full cost/benefit analysis of the proposed change(s) including a description and estimate of costs (including life cycle costs) the Procuring Entity may incur in implementing the value engineering proposal; and c) a description of any effect(s) of the change on performance/functionality.

  • Project 3.01. The Recipient declares its commitment to the objectives of the Project. To this end, the Recipient shall carry out the Project in accordance with the provisions of Article IV of the General Conditions.
