Common use of Project Record Drawings and Specifications Clause in Contracts

Unless more detailed requirements are called out in the contract documents, the Contractor shall maintain a Contract set of drawings at the site with all changes or deviations from the original drawings neatly marked thereon in a contrasting color. The Contractor shall also maintain a Contract set of specifications at the site, noting therein by appropriate section, the names, models and other distinguishing characteristics of the product actually incorporated into the work. This set of drawings and specifications shall be updated daily as the job progresses and shall be made available to the Owner and Engineer for inspection at all times. Upon completion of the work and before final payment, this Project Record set of drawings and specifications shall be delivered to theEngineer.
