Common use of Project Superintendent Clause in Contracts

Project Superintendent. A. Contractor shall employ a competent Superintendent and any necessary assistants or alternates, all approved by Owner or Owner's Representative. The Superintendent shall not be changed except with the consent of Owner or Owner's Representative, unless the Superintendent is discharged by Contractor. The Superintendent shall have authority to represent Contractor in all matters relating to the Project. Communications with the Superintendent shall have the same force and effect as direct communication with Contractor. B. The Project Superintendent shall be able to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
