Promotions - Effect on Basic Pay. If Employee is promoted from one job classification to another job classification assigned to a higher Pay Range, then Employee shall be assigned to a Pay Step within the Pay Range assigned to the promotional job classification so as to receive at least a five percent (5%) pay increase, unless otherwise specified herein.
