Common use of Proof of Interest Clause in Contracts

Proof of Interest. The Investor or the Receiver may require any Person mentioned in sections 8.1.5, 8.1.6 or 8.1.7 to furnish proof of that Person's interest, and unless the proof is furnished within ten days after demand by the Investor or the Receiver, the Investor or the Receiver need not pay over any portion of the Proceeds referred to therein to such Person.
