Common use of Proponent - County Clause in Contracts

Proponent - County. (a) Where there is a direct relationship between the County and a Proponent, the Proponent shall indemnify the County for all Federal Funds and Provincial Funds paid in the event of a claim against the County or CMHC. (b) Indemnification of CMHC will be required during the construction and occupancy period of a project. Indemnification of the County will be required throughout the Affordability Period.
