Common use of Proprietary Rights License Clause in Contracts

Proprietary Rights License. 14.1. SAVVIS hereby grants to Customer a non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use all programming and software necessary for Customer to use the Networks. Such license is granted for the term of this Agreement for the sole purpose of enabling Customer to use the Networks. 14.2. All title and property rights (including intellectual property rights) to the Networks (including associated programming and software) are and shall remain with SAVVIS or the third-party providers thereof to SAVVIS. Customer shall not (except as permitted by applicable law) attempt to examine, copy, alter, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, tamper with or otherwise misuse the Networks, programming and software.
