Common use of Protection for Third Persons Clause in Contracts

Protection for Third Persons. In dealing with the Trustee, no one other than the Company is required to inquire into the Trustee's authority to take any action authorized by this Trust. All persons may assume that the Trustee is authorized to take any action which it undertakes and will not be liable for any act done under written direction of the Trustee. Also, all persons may assume that the Trustee is authorized to receive any money or property paid to the Trustee, or paid under the Trustee's written direction. Written certification by the Company of the Trustee's name will be conclusive evidence that the Trustee is qualified to act as Trustee at the date of that certification.
