Protection Granted. The Parties shall protect, in a manner as effective and uniform as possible, the rights of authors in their literary and artistic works. The Parties shall also protect the rights of performers, producers of phonograms and broadcasting organisations, with respect to their performances, phonograms and broadcasts, respectively.
