Protection of Licenses, etc. MSMI shall and shall cause its subsidiaries to, maintain, defend and protect to the best of their ability licenses and sublicenses (and to the extent MSMI or a subsidiary is a licensee or sublicensee under any license or sublicense, as permitted by the license or sublicense agreement), trademarks, trade names, service marks, patents and applications therefor and other proprietary information owned or used by it or them and shall keep duplicate copies of any licenses, trademarks, service marks or patents owned or used by it, if any, at a secure place selected by MSMI.
