PROTECTION OF LICENSES. The Company shall, and shall cause its Subsidiaries to, maintain, defend and protect to the best of their ability licenses and sublicenses (and to the extent the Company or a Subsidiary is a licensee or sublicensee under any license or sublicense, as permitted by the license or sublicense agreement), trademarks, trade names, service marks, patents and applications therefore and other proprietary information or Intellectual Property Rights owned or used by it or them and shall keep duplicate copies of any licenses, trademarks, service marks or patents owned or used by it, if any, at a secure place selected by the Company.
