Protective Maintenance Clause Samples

The Protective Maintenance clause establishes the obligation to perform regular upkeep and preventive care on equipment, property, or systems to ensure their continued safe and effective operation. In practice, this clause may require scheduled inspections, timely repairs, and the replacement of worn components to prevent breakdowns or hazards. Its core function is to minimize the risk of unexpected failures, extend the lifespan of assets, and reduce liability by ensuring that maintenance responsibilities are clearly defined and consistently fulfilled.
