Providing Services. The Contractor must not honor any verbal requests for Services or perform or xxxx for any Services without receipt of a written Purchase Order issued by the Department. Any work performed by the Contractor without a written Purchase Order is done at the Contractor’s risk. Consequently, in the event a written Purchase Order is not provided by the City, the Contractor releases the City form any liability whatsoever to pay for any work performed provided without a Purchase Order. If indicated in the Scope or Detailed Specifications, Services will be determined on an as-needed basis and as described on a Task Order Services Request (“TOSR”) (which process is described in the Scope or Detailed Specifications). Only if the Contractor has successfully been awarded a Task Order will it then receive a Purchase Order (a.k.a. purchase order release, blanket order release, or sub-order) authorizing the Contractor to perform Services. Purchase Orders will indicate the specification number, purchase order number, project description, milestones, deadlines, funding, and other such pertinent information.
