Common use of Provision of Guarantees and Suretyships Clause in Contracts

Provision of Guarantees and Suretyships. The Guarantor is not entitled to act as a guarantor or surety for the obligations of any person without the prior written consent of the Credit Agent and undertakes to ensure that any of its Subsidiaries does not act as a guarantor or surety for the obligations of any person without the prior written consent of the Credit Agent; and

Provision of Guarantees and Suretyships. (i) The Guarantor is not entitled to act as a guarantor or surety for the obligations of any person without the prior written consent of the Credit Agent and undertakes to ensure that any of its Subsidiaries does not act as a guarantor or surety for the obligations of any person without the prior written consent of the Credit Agent; and (ii) The provisions of Clause (i) above do not apply when such guarantee or suretyship secures the performance of the obligations of another member of the Group:
