Common use of PROVISION OF USAGE DATA Clause in Contracts

PROVISION OF USAGE DATA. 73.1. This Section sets forth the terms and conditions for Sprint’s provision of Recorded Usage Data (as defined in this Part) to CLEC and for information exchange regarding long distance billing. The parties agree to record call information for interconnection in accordance with this Section. To the extent technically feasible, each party shall record all call detail information associated with completed calls originated by or terminated to the other Party’s local exchange subscriber. Sprint shall record for CLEC the messages that Sprint records for and bills to its end users and records for billing of interexchange carriers. These records shall be provided at a party’s request and shall be formatted pursuant to Telcordia’s EMI standards and the terms and conditions of this Agreement. These records shall be transmitted to the other party on non- holiday Business Days in EMI format via CDN, or provided on a cartridge. Sprint and CLEC agree that they shall retain, at each party’s sole expense, copies of all EMI records transmitted to the other party for at least forty-five (45) calendar days after transmission to the other party.
