Common use of Provisions By Law Clause in Contracts

Provisions By Law. 19.1 It is understood that existing ordinances, resolution and written policies of the City cover matters pertaining to employer-employee relations including, but not limited to, salaries, wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment. Therefore, it is agreed that all ordinances, resolutions and policies, including the Employer-Employee Relations Resolution are hereby incorporated herein by this reference and made part hereof as though fully set forth and except as provided herein shall remain in full force and effect during the term hereof. The parties hereto agree that nothing in this MOU shall in any manner abridge, restrict or modify the rights and prerogatives of the City and its employees set forth in Article I , Sections 4 and 5, and Article II Section 1 B of Resolution No. 15079, or its successor, if any.
