Common use of Provisions to be Severable Clause in Contracts

Provisions to be Severable. If any provision of this Contract is held to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of any such provision shall not affect the other provisions of this Contract that can be given effect without the provision determined to be invalid, and to that end, the provisions of this Contract are severable.
