Common use of PUBLIC ENTITY CRIME INFORMATION Clause in Contracts

PUBLIC ENTITY CRIME INFORMATION. Pursuant to Florida Statute 287.133, a respondent may not be awarded or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under a contract with any public entity; and may not transact business with any public entity in excess of the threshold amount provided in s. 287.017 for CATEGORY TWO for a period of 36 months following the date of being placed on the convicted vendor list. Note: For respondent’s convenience, this certification form is enclosed and is made a part of the bid package. INVESTIGATION OF RESPONDENT The County may make such investigations, as it deems necessary to determine the stability of the respondent to perform the work and that there is no conflict of interest as it relates to the project. The respondent shall furnish to the Owner any additional information and financial data for this purpose as the County may request.
